Silly Me

There was one day, Ryan and I went to a shop in our own car. We parked next to each other.

As we were walking back to our car, I was talking to Ryan about something. I forgot that we went in two separate cars and so, I got into his car.

Lol! So embarrassing but funny.

The Proposal

So he proposed in Beach Republic, Koh Samui on the 29th of April 2012. It was a sweet surprise!

Samui & Phuket Fireworks did a great job with the fireworks. However, the "Marry Me" sign was a flop. It wasn't fully lighted up. Couldn't blame them though. It was really windy that night.

Searching for solution

Sometimes, when we're stuck with a problem, we need to consult someone for advice.

But sometimes, we just need someone to listen to us talk and we will eventually find our own solution without the other party doing anything.

I'm not sure if you've been through this but I did.

This conversation between Cheh Lu and Davin in the office got Kuan and I burst out laughing.

Valentine's Day

So the other day, Ryan and I was having this Valentine's Day conversation in the car.

LOL, I'm not kiamsiap! It's just that I think Valentine's Day is so overrated. Nevertheless, it's definitely good for businesses. I remember back in the days, I loved looking forward to Valentine's Day. As I got older, I just didn't feel the hype of it anymore. It's just like any other day. Probably life is too good for me I guess. Hehehe!

By the way, this will be our first Valentine's Day together. We are not going to do anything special. No candlelight dinner. No gifts. We're just going to have a normal crabby dinner somewhere "normal". Probably gonna drag my parents along if they're into it.

Whatever it is, I'm still wishing you HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! Have a great one if you're celebrating. :)

In the office today, I saw Kuan peeling mandarin orange for himself. So I asked him for some.


Sometimes, the things Kuan says can be really amusing. He's witty and he can talk back and get back at you with reasons you can never think of. He should be a lawyer.

So at lunch today, Lena and Davin were joking with each other as usual being silly.

Aaron burst out laughing when I asked Lena, "Can meh?"

Hahaha! Bugger...very funny meh? :D

To Eat or Not to Eat

There are people who do things that they know they shouldn't.

For example, an overweight who can't stop eating.




There are also people who do things that they don't know they shouldn't.

For example, a skinny who didn't want to eat.

Blending In

So I was talking to Lena about how I sometimes felt when I'm in a group of people who speak in a language that I'm not really good at. Well, I can join in the conversation if I totally understand what they are talking about. Sadly, most of the time I don't.

I think it will be hilarious if I misunderstand the conversation and end up saying something irrelevant like the comic below.

Online Comic Strip Generator

Many people asked how I drew those comics in my previous posts. The answer is I didn't draw them. First of all, drawing is not my forte. Besides, I don't have the time to learn how to draw a comic electronically.

I simply used a comic strip generator. What a great tool for lazy busy people like me. There are a number of free online comic strip generator out there. Just google it.

I used Strip Generator for this. Easy to use but a lot of limitations.

Then, I found something better. I used ToonDoo for this.

I like ToonDoo the best so far because I can create my own character but it has limitations in terms of posture. I can't get my character to face to the right, left or back.

I have yet to try out the others. Like I said, I don't have the time.

So, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do let me know if you know a good one?...Since I'm so kind to share this with you. See now you know my secret but I'm happy to share. :)

P/S: I customized the cartoon character above to look like me via ToonDoo. So cute right? Especially the second one.

How to pick up girls at the vending machine

One day during our lunch break, the few of us were talking about how we can text in to buy a drink at the vending machine in Japan.

"Yeah, there's a number at the machine you can text to. Then the machine will go "grrng"...and then you'll get your drink."

"Imagine you're standing in front of the machine thinking of what to buy and suddenly the machine go "grrng". When you look around, you see this man waving and smiling at you. Hahaha..."

So I got inspired and created my next comic...

Queue Jumper

This is my first attempt to do a comic strip. Please forgive me for the ugliness. Be nice ok. Lol!

So here you go...



I wonder if she's blind or what. It was so obvious we were all queuing for the washroom. And why did the girl in front didn't say anything? The woman behind me started making friends with me after that. Lol.

I know the comic strip fonts are very small. I've tried my best. So here's the story...

So one day at Sunway Giza, I was queuing for the washroom. I was the third one in line. Out of nowhere, this girl came in and walked past us and stood in front of the cubicle.

The woman queuing behind me asked me, "Hi, is this the queue?"

I replied, "Yes". The woman looked at the queue jumper in front and I knew I had to do something.

So I called out to her, "Excuse me, the queue starts here" pointing to the back.

She apologized and joined the queue.
